Implant is the most suitable treatment method for the natural tooth structure used in the treatment of missing teeth.
How is Implant Treatment Applied?
Before the treatment, after the detailed examination and x-ray to the patient, the measurement of the jaw bones and remaining teeth is taken. There are two methods used to place dental implants. In the first method; that is, a temporary cap is attached after the implant is placed in the single-stage implant treatment. In the two-stage method, after the implant is attached, the implant is covered with the gingiva and after the healing process, prosthetic heads are attached. In both methods, a temporary bridge is placed and a healing period of 3 months for the lower jaw and 6 months for the upper jaw is expected.
What Should Be Considered After Treatment?
Oral hygiene should be given importance and apart from daily brushing, special threads and interface brushes recommended by your dentist should be used. Since the implant treatment is made to remain in the mouth for life, the length of this period is determined by the care to be taken to oral and dental hygiene.
